Description: Guided Open Print Studio is designed for printmakers to continue their exploration in monotype, relief and collagraph printmaking. Each class will begin with a share out of current work or work in progress and then participants will work independently on their projects. Print Studio Assistants will be present to guide participants in the use of the press, and studio tools. Studio fee includes the use of the press and print studio tools. Paper, gomuban, and some shina will is available for purchase.
Guided Open Print Studio is available to current members who are familiar with studio etiquette, able to work independently and have taken at least one printmaking class at DMAC in the last two years. Proper use of tools, papers, inks and clean up procedures must be respected. Please bring your own carving tools, blocks, paper and special inks.
