Join us this holiday season for one of our unique Holiday Art Experiences. These 3-hour workshops are a chance to connect with local artists, learn a new skill, and create one-of-a-kind gifts with festive flair for the holidays. Bring a friend and come learn, explore & create in our various studios.

Please bring one or two design ideas to create 5x7 holiday cards that will delight your family and friends.

About the Artist: Gerald Thomas Walsh III, affectionately known as Jerry, is a lifelong resident of the Big Island and a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a B.A. in General Art. Jerry's artistic journey led him to discover a deep passion for printmaking, where he explores patterns that blend organic and geometric elements, often incorporating the human figure into his work.
Jerry's prints have been featured in numerous exhibits at the Donkey Mill Art Center and the Annual Japanese Chamber of Commerce Exhibit in Oahu. With a background in teaching art at Makua Lani Christian Academy for students from Kindergarten through 7th grade, Jerry now focuses on his own printmaking projects and works at Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary.
About Our Programs: As a place of convergence, the Mill serves as both a community and a physical place–celebrating the power of the arts, bringing people, ideas and perspectives together. We are proud to offer adult and youth programs that focus on awareness of one’s individuality in the contexts of family, community and the natural world. Our classes & workshops are designed to inspire creativity, foster connections, and provide enriching experiences for all participants. We invite you to join us in the studio.
