Description: Unleash your inner artist (or just your inner cat lady) as you learn how to craft a feline masterpiece from a simple ball of clay. The first day of class will be spent learning how to build the form. Day two will be for finishing up details and adding color. The instructor will clear glaze your kitty companion at a later date and it will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. Arrangements can be made to mail it to you if needed.
Level: Beginner, Ages 12+. Youth, ages 16 or under, must be accompanied by an adult.
Whether you are a curious beginner or a seasoned ceramicist, this workshop is the purr-fect way to bring a little feline flair to your phone setup.
Please note: Registration for this workshop will close on Saturday, April 19 at midnight.
Supply fee includes:
- 4 pounds of clay
- Joining slip
- Underglazes
- Clear glaze (to be applied by the instructor at a later date)
- All tools are provided
Students should bring:
- Apron (or clothes that can get messy)
- Towel or cloth to wipe hands
- Paint brushes if you have favorites. Brushes will be available at Donkey Mill, but sizes and shapes are sometimes limited.
