Event Description: Celebrate the opening of I Mana Ka Moʻomoʻo, a powerful exhibition featuring artwork of Kanaka ʻŌiwi artists and kapa practitioners whose works reflect a deep and ongoing commitment to their kuleana. As educators, cultural practitioners, language advocates, and more—these artists honor, perpetuate and reclaim the ʻike, values, and practices of our kūpuna. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their kapa journeys, and experience the profound connections between art, identity, and empowerment through the reclamation of cultural practices.
Event Details: The reception begins at 5:00pm with opening protocols and program at 6:00pm. Light pūpū will be served with a no-host bar.
This event is free and open to the public. We encourage registration for this event although it is not required.

Our exhibitions provide a space to reflect, share perspectives and grow as a community. Our classes & workshops are designed to inspire creativity, foster connections, and provide enriching experiences for all participants. We invite you to join us in the studio.
