Event Description: The opening of Stories of Water will be an evening of art, conversation, and live performance.
At the event, look forward to:
- Artist Melanie Yazzie's insights into the origins and inspirations behind the exhibition, offering a deeper look at the ideas and experiences that shaped the work.
- Movement artist Sarah Campen premiere of a live piece exploring relationships with tides, landscapes, and the ways water connects bodies to place.
We hope you’ll join us to experience it together! The reception begins at 5:00pm with opening protocols and program at 6:00pm. Light pūpū will be served with a no-host bar. This event is free and open to the public. We encourage registration for this event although it is not required.
