Event Description: Gather with us at the Donkey Mill for an inspiring evening of art, storytelling, film, and community connection with interdisciplinary artist Sarah Campen on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 5:00–7:00pm. Bring a favorite dish to share and settle in for a night of creativity, conversation, and collective reflection.
Event Details: The gathering will start with a potluck dinner at 5:00pm and the program will begin at 5:30pm with Sarah sharing about her journey as an interdisciplinary artist followed by the screening of her film My Water Generations which is currently featured in the Stories of Water exhibition, Q+A and an opportunity for reflection, dialogue and sharing. As artists, filmmakers, students of life, creative thinkers, and folks curious to experience something new, this is a chance to connect, learn, and be inspired together. About the Artist: Sarah Campen is an interdisciplinary artist and teaching artist working at the intersection of storytelling, movement, and place. Her work spans choreography, audio storytelling, installation, and film, exploring the complexities of human connections to land and each other.
Sarah is the recipient of a 2020 Individual Artist Award from the Rasmuson Foundation and a 2018 Catalyst Fellowship with the Center for Performance & Civic Practice. She has trained with Pilobolus and Trisha Brown Dance Company and holds a bachelorʼs degree from Brown University. Born and raised in Alaska, Sarah now makes her home in Kona.
