Membership Pāʻina
On Saturday, August 8, the Mill’s Annual Membership Pāʻina brought 55 members, new friends, families, staff, teaching artists, and supporters together for an afternoon of food, art, talk story, and connection.
Guests explored the Mill through studio and exhibition tours, got creative with watercolors and origami, and enjoyed a lively talk story panel with Mina Elison, Miho Morinoue, Ashley Raymond, and Natasha Ala. The conversation sparked thoughtful questions, ideas, and feedback, a wonderful reminder that the Mill is shaped by the people who take part in it.
Attendees also had the chance to learn more about volunteer opportunities, get a first look at Cool Fusion: Festival of 1000 Bowls and purchase pre-sale tickets, and win Donkey Mill merch raffle prizes and Cool Fusion tickets.
Mahalo nui loa to the many hands that made this event possible, including Poi Dog Deli for the delicious lunch and Off the Grid Productions for providing sound support. July’s Membership Drive
Each July, we launch our Annual Membership Drive. This year, 105 new and renewing members joined the Donkey Mill ʻohana, contributing an 8.9% increase over last year and helping us surpass our goal!
