MAHALO

Artmaking encourages critical thinking, sharing and respecting different perspectives, and creative collaboration with others.

Art fosters self-awareness in the context of healthy relationships with family, co-workers, and throughout our community.

Thank you for your generosity and your willingness to extend your influence to create the space and resources to make such experiences possible. We couldn’t do what we do without you!

DMAC Community Partners

Our Community Partners are business leaders who understand that the practice−and the appreciation−of art are hallmarks of a whole person and a healthy society.

Their annual gifts sustain our art and cultural programs for adults and children of all backgrounds and abilities, building a stronger, more resourceful, community.

Special People, Special Funds

Snell Endowment for Emerging Artists
In loving memory of Chris Snell, the Snell Endowment for Emerging Artists was established in 2003 by his wife, Motter, an ardent supporter of the Mill who serves on the board of directors for the Holualoa Foundation for Arts & Culture.

Mary Silverwood Youth Scholarship Fund
Speaking of her own experience, Mary Silverwood said, “I needed a space to get over a fear of failure. I had to teach myself that unless you fail you aren’t learning anything or trying anything new. I wanted room to grow.” Through the faithful support of a local artist who chooses to remain anonymous, the Mary Silverwood Scholarship Fund gives children in need “room to grow.”

Isami & Zora Enomoto Keiki Scholarship Fund
The Enomoto Keiki Scholarship Fund helps families give their children a potentially life-changing experience in the arts, honoring the Enomotos’ dedication to the art community as whole, and in particular, to art education for youngsters.

Florence Ozaki Memorial Fund: Project WorkFlo
Project WorkFlo is a dynamic tribute to the late Florence Ozaki, whose administrative skill is credited with the resurgence of the acclaimed Mauna Lani resort. With the stewardship of her daughter, Deborah Ozaki, this fund supports the current renovation of DMAC’s internal operations, from databases, communications, and record keeping to the development of this website.
